By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any of these terms, then please contact us at info@britisheco.com before placing an order with us.

These Terms and Conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.

This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.

A Contract between the customer and britisheco.com for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been completed using the secure online site or by post or phone. ( at which point the buyers credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods being despatched in the near future). This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

Prices and availability of goods is subject to change without notice. This means that the price confirmed after placing the order may be different to that charged at delivery. Every effort is made to ensure that this will not happen - please refer to our returns policy, (link to returns policy) below.
A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate, please see delivery times and charges (link to delivery charges).

Cancellation Policy
You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of despatch. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days.

Returns
If you decide you would not to keep your order that you have chosen you may return it to us at your expense within 14 days of receipt, please notify us by phone or email that you intend to return during this period. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange or, at our option, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, and with the original packaging.

Making Returns
For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. To return any products to us, please contact to confirm where to send the return as some products are sent out direct from manufacturers.

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. We will only refund or provide an exchange for the costs of postage where the item returned is faulty. We pay return costs at the lowest postage, so please do not send returns special 24hr delivery.

Payment and Taxes
We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit/debit card or britisheco.com Vouchers. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch & Amex. All transactions are shown in £ sterling, but can also be shown in Euros and Dollars by selecting these currency options on the homepage.

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at 17.5%. If your order is being despatched to a destination outside the European Community (EC) then your sales tax will be zero. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EC then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

We accept cheque and bank transfers. Our website uses worldpay.com to take online payments. Worldpay is one of the most reliable online transaction companies and is used by many major retail outlets.

UK Delivery
Stock permitting, all orders placed by mail-order or on the web are usually despatched to arrive with UK customers within 7 working days, although please allow 28 days. If you require products urgently please contact us so we can organise express courier. We cannot refund delivery costs incurred by customer when returning goods.

Overseas Delivery
Overseas, BFPO and non-mainland UK (Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man) postage is charged at cost. Delivery times may vary.
