We've now had our system installed for 1 year, and I've taken the readings every so often. The SAP system calculated we would generate 1927kWh in the first year, for 2.82kWp, west-facing. We actually generated 2250kWh, 17% more than the Government predicted.

This equates to 40.05% of our annual electrical demand, on a five bedroom house with six occupants (energy saving measures in place) – 5618kWh per year in 2010.
