Renewable Heat Premium Payments

The Renewable Heat Premium Payments (RHPP) scheme is a financial incentive designed by the Government to reward homeowners with cash value vouchers when they install renewable heating technologies in their homes.

The RHPP scheme will run until Spring 2014, when the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) will become available. In the mean time, homeowners can benefit from the significant cash value vouchers offered under the RHPP to help towards the cost of installing a renewable heating system.

On 20th May 2013, the Government increased the amount available under the RHPP scheme for each technology to ensure that the uptake of renewable heating continues to increase.

There are many benefits to installing renewable heating technology in your home, including lowering your energy bills and receiving the domestic RHI when it goes live next Spring. The RHPP is an additional bonus for those who install renewable heating technologies now, and is only available for a limited time until 31st March 2014.  All installations must be completed and vouchers must be redeemed before this date.

The table below shows the value of the RHPP vouchers currently available for homeowners as of May 2013.
