Delivery Information
At British Eco.com we strive to fulfil out customer orders as quickly and efficient as possible. As a family business customer service is very important to us and we believe this gives us an edge over other companies.
PLEASE NOTE: Orders below 1 K.G. in total weight are usually shipped using Royal Mail and don't usually incur a delivery charge to the Scottish Highlands and Islands around the UK as these items cost no more to deliver. However, items over 1 K.G. in weight are usually sent by tracked courier for security reasons. Courier companies charge considerably more to deliver to the Highland and Islands and so our charges are forced to be higher. We apologise in advance for this.
Most of our stock is stored in our state-of-the-art warehouse near Ipswich. Orders are mainly delivered by fast, professional couriers such as ANC.co.uk and Parcelforce.com, for which tracking numbers are available. However, if your total order weight is less than 1KG then it will usually be sent be sent by Royal Mail (tracking is not be available). Currently, tracking numbers are only available on request from Customer Services (see below).
*Free Delivery ServiceFor most items we offer a FREE delivery service which usually takes 5 working days to reach you but may take longer. This service is ONLY available if you are located on the mainland in England and Wales. Scotland is also included but not the Highlands and Islands. Northern Ireland and other islands within the British Isles are subject to a delivery charge. We do apologise for this extra charge but we are simply passing on the charges levied to us by the courier companies and we do not make any profit from these charges.
Please note that weekends and Bank Holidays do not count as working days and should be factoring into your delivery time expectations.
Sometimes orders may be despatched directly from the manufacturer. These items may take longer than 5 days to deliver depending on the delivery systems used by the manufacture. Therefore some items in your order may be despatched separately.
Exceptions to free UK mainland delivery include our range of low energy light bulbs and eco cleaning products. Free delivery on these products is only available if orders are over £50 (except Maxima Green products which have a minimum order value of £100 for free UK mainland delivery) in value, otherwise a charge is levied for delivery.

Faster Delivery OptionsAs well as the free service we offer, you may also choose to purchase a faster delivery option such as 24 or 48 hour (work days) despatch. Please note that 48 hour despatch is defined as 2-3 WORKING days by most couriers companies. Please select the appropriate delivery option at check-out. Saturday delivery is also a special request option - please allow 24 hours to process your order prior to the Saturday delivey day.
