It’s a win:win situation for us - it is good to be able to earn an income from installing Solar PV panels and save money on our electricity bill, whilst at the same time doing our bit for the environment. We are expecting a return on investment of 10%, tax free – better than 2% we were getting in the building society!

For many years I have been convinced that the only way forward is for all houses to produce all their own power needs.
